As someone with a contemporary dance and dance theatre background, I was eager to continue exploring movement and my body. I was introduced to yoga and Pilates unexpectedly by a good friend and colleague, Minhee Yeo, after we attended acting workshops together. We would often go to yoga classes in London, and after attending a single class with her, I experienced a profound shift within myself.
I began practicing regularly, and then the pandemic hit. During that challenging time, yoga and Pilates became essential for my mental and physical well-being, teaching me not only the importance of movement but also the value of perseverance and consistency in my practice. Through yoga and Pilates, I learned to stay persistent, embracing the journey of growth and self-discovery.
